Esprit de Corps Esprit de Corps
Awarded to a member of the crew, semi-annually, who has shown great pride in their membership to our community and has expressed it in participation, motivating others, and being a great example of why our community is so special. This award is based on nominations from the membership and game staff. Nominations shall be held in January and June and then announced the following month. Members must have served aboard the Eagle for at least three months time to be eligible for nomination.

Community Support Award Community Support Award
Awarded to any person who has greatly supported the Eagle regardless of membership status. This award may be awarded at the discretion of the Game Master and nomination may be made by any member of the crew and approved by the Game Staff. The awardee must have contributed in such a way that the sim must have benefited greatly in gain of members, readers, or content that otherwise would not have been available.

Game Master's Commendation Game Master's Commendation
Awarded at the discretion of the Game Master to a member of the community for an action that has assisted the community, the Game Staff, or the Game Master in a manner that recognition is due. This award may only be awarded by the Game Master and nominations will not be accepted.

Architect Award Architect Award
Awarded by the Game Master to a member of the crew for creating or being a major part of the development of a mission or large section of the Eagle Plot and/or Universe. This award shall be granted after the completion of the mission as it becomes part of Eagle's canon in character. Members of the Game Staff are ineligible for this award.

Recruitment Award Recruitment Award
Awarded to members of the crew who successfully recruit a new member to the group who is active for at least three (3) months. This award shall be awarded automatically by the GM to anyone who qualifies. Members of the Game Staff are not eligible for this award. (Members are encouraged to remind the GM when eligible for this award.)

Busy Bee Award Busy Bee Award
Awarded to a member of the crew who kept busy and actively posting despite their primary character not necessarily being involved in the mission. This could be caused by illness, injury, non-mainstream position, etc. This award is given at the discretion of the game staff at the conclusion of each mission.

Parachute Award Parachute Award
Awarded to a member of the crew joined during the mission, already in progress, and made great effort to immediately become part of the plot and the crew. This member must have also met all activity requirements since joining to be eligible for this award.

Character Development Award Character Development Award
Awarded to a member who had outstanding character growth throughout the mission. This award can be nominated by a member of the sim or the game staff at the conclusion of the mission. This award may be awarded to both Primary Playing and Secondary Playing Characters (Personal NPCs).

Relationship Growth Award Relationship Growth Award
Awarded to members of the crew who throughout a mission show growth of a special relationship. This could be a friendship, romantic, or family relationship. This award is nominated by the crew or award by the staff at the conclusion of each mission. All members that are involved in the relationship will receive the award.

Awarded to the writer who included a large amount of treknology or other geekiness within a post or multiple posts within the mission. This award may be nominated by any member of the crew or the game staff.

Plot Twist Award Plot Twist Award
Awarded to a member of the sim who introduced a major plot twist or some out of the box thinking for a solution to a problem during the mission. This award shall be awarded by nomination of any member or by the Game Staff at the conclusion of the mission it occurred in.

Imperfect Award Imperfect Award
Awarded to a member of the sim whose character does not follow the “social norm” in role-playing in which many characters exceed at all they do or get away with doing things wrong or not following orders, etc. This award celebrates willingness to let characters make mistakes, do things wrong, and face consequences of their actions. This award will be awarded by the Game Staff at the conclusion of each mission.

Not everyone gets along all the of the time this is awarded to those involved in writing a scene including an argument, jealousy, or dislike for another character. This award is nominated by the members of the sim or the game staff at the conclusion of the mission it was in.

Awarded to a member of the sim who wrote a post with great comedic value.This award may be nominated by any member of the community as well as the Game Staff at the conclusion of the mission it occurred in.

Facepalm Award Facepalm Award
The Facepalm Award is awarded to a member of the crew who wrote their character(s) into a situation that causes the readers to facepalm, laugh out loud, or maybe even cringe. This could be from a humorous situation or a tense situation including a big mistake. This award is nominated by the membership or awarded by the GM Staff at the conclusion of each mission.

John H. Glenn Pioneer Award John H. Glenn Pioneer Award
In Memory of John H. Glenn (18 JUL 1921 - 8 DEC 2016) this award has been created to signify a pioneering moment in United Earth history by members of the crew. This award shall be awarded by the Staff to the entire crew on a mission that is pioneering in nature. These events could be a first contact, discovering new organisms, or a major scientific discovery reached only because of the efforts of the crew.

John H. Glenn was a pioneering NASA Astronaut, United States Senator, and a Colonel in the United States Marine Corps. Colonel Glenn was highly decorated with many military honors including the Congressional Space Medal of Honor for which this award has been imaged after. COL Glenn was a veteran of the Korean War and also served in the US Army Air Corps. during World War II.

Awarded to a member who successfully completed a written challenge of an in-character nature such as a writing prompt, assigned character or overall mission plot twist, etc. This award is an individual award only and is not issued in challenges when members of the crew may be competing against each other.

Awarded to the first place winner of a contest issued to the members of the group. This award can only be awarded in contests in which the crew may be competing against each other. This contest does not need to include writing posts.

Awarded to any member of the Eagle who wrote actively during the prologue "Mission 0". This award honors the commitment, drive, and assistance in developing a brand new simulation to our founding members.

Awarded to a member of the Eagle who has dedicated five years of service or more to the community. This is a cumulative award first awarded on the 5th Anniversary and then again every five years.

Awarded to a member of the Eagle who has dedicated one year of service or more to the community. This award is cumulative and is awarded at each anniversary that another award is not more appropriate.
